Puppy Kindergarten is a relationship building class to get you and your new pup off to a great start.
We have designed this class to give puppies an opportunity to learn basic skills that will develop them into happy, confident companions. We will be focusing on:
1) Reinforcing calm behavior
2) Solutions to challenging puppy behaviors
3) Building a common language to hellp build your relationship with your puppy
Additionally, you will learn to use enrichment items to help your pup use their brain, and games that are fun and will help keep your dog engaged with you out in the big world.
Puppies will also learn how to interact appropriately with other dogs during play time, which offers a gentle, friendly, active environment in which puppies and their companions can have fun learning.
An introduction to basic but important skills such as leave it, come when called and learning to be handled will also be covered.
PUPPY KINDERGARTEN 1 (for 8-24 week-old puppies)
- Cost: $190 for 6 weeks (1 hour a week for 6 weeks)
- Location: The Adams Mall, 108 Newburyport Turnpike, Rowley, MA (Entrance and Parking at back of building)
- For puppies older than 24 weeks: We offer Basic Manners.
- Playtime is not guaranteed, it depends on the individual group of puppies.

PUPPY 2 / INTERMEDIATE MANNERS
Puppy 2 continues to focus on building a positive relationship between dog and handler and on the basic obedience commands that every puppy needs. It also adds distractions to ensure that your pup is reliable in real-life situations. Some agility obstacles are also introduced to add variety and interest.
- Prerequisite: An entry level class (Puppy Kindergarten or Basic Manners), or permission of the instructor is required for this class.
- Cost: $190 for 6 weeks (1 hour a week for 6 weeks)
- Location: The Adams Mall, 108 Newburyport Turnpike,
Rowley, MA
- There are no-make ups for your dog being spayed or neutered – that is a scheduling issue that can be avoided.
