In addition to our regularly scheduled classes, Fit-N-Trim hosts special workshops, seminars and events throughout the year. Workshops and Seminars have been conducted by Andy Winther, Jon Nyes, Amanda Shine and our own instructors.
Some our recent events have included: Winter Skills, Agility Try-It, Fun with Agility, Puppy Socialization Hour and Fun Sampler Classes. We also host practice Agility Games, Scent Work Trials.

- Dogs need to be dog and human friendly on leash. (as in being able to be around other dogs without barking allot or lunging: there will be no dog to dog interactions)
- Dogs must be 7 months or older.

INTRO TO CANINE GOOD CITIZENSHIP
The AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society. This 1-hour class will demonstrate the 10 required skills, help you evaluate which skills may need more work, and provide some relevant training tips and demonstrations to help you prepare for the test.

IMPULSE CONTROL ACTIVITIES
This class will focus on helping our dogs manage their impulses and resist the urge to perform unwanted actions. It’s about developing self-restraint and the ability to think before acting. Dogs will learn behaviors like “leave it” and “wait,” which will help them pause and make better choices in various situations.

We will cover everything for the new competitor. Starting with how to enter and reading the premium to what to expect at a trial and what to bring the day of.
